The open question is the opposite one: these read as documentary photographs of Filipino-American business owners, so every placement is captioned as illustrative. ## Generated mockups of REAL businesses — read this first Five featured listings carry card art that is a **generated illustration of a real company that has not opted in**: 8888 FilAm Realty, Aguilar Pierce Law, DeVore Capital Contracting, Eleven Dash LLC, and Event Heroes of Tampa Bay. Sources in `assets/photos/businesses/`. These are the highest-risk images on the site. Each renders a real company’s name and branding — and, for DeVore, its real state licence CCC1332275 — around a person who is not that company’s owner. 8888 FilAm Realty’s broker is Jose Amoroso; the figure shown is not him. Published unlabelled beside that company’s real phone and email, they would read as documentation of the actual business. Two safeguards, and both must stay: 1. `ILLUSTRATIVE MOCKUP` is burned into the pixels by `tools/build_featured_media.py`, so the label survives screenshotting, hotlinking and any surface nobody remembered to update. 2. The site renders a Mockup badge on the card and tile, an `Illustrative mockup` pill on the profile, and a notice above the contact block stating the business is real but the image is not a photograph of it. Neither may be removed without the owner’s written sign-off. The right fix is to replace them with the owner’s own photography, not to drop the label. ## Featured-listing card art Separate from the stock set above. The id's timestamp prefix decodes to 2016-06-09, which predates Unsplash+ (2022), so the free Unsplash License is likely — that is an inference, not a checked fact. | Resolve the contributor and licence before this leaves the noindex preview. Everything else in this table was licence-checked on its own photo page; this one was not. | `liwanag-events` is a FICTITIOUS sample listing. Its phone is in the 555-01xx block reserved for fiction and its email uses the reserved `.example` TLD, so nothing about it can reach a real person. **The card art no longer labels itself.** It used to be generated typography reading "SAMPLE LISTING"/"ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE", which travelled with the image everywhere it appeared. A supplied photograph carries no such mark, so the only remaining signals are the directory footnote, the mosaic caption and the notice on `/directory/liwanag-events`. Set `STAMP_SAMPLE = True` in `tools/build_featured_media.py` to overlay a corner mark and restore it. ## The stock photos are illustrative, not members **No photograph in the table at the top of this file shows a Florida Pinoy member business.** Each is licensed stock standing in for the kind of owner the organisation serves, and every placement is captioned as illustrative. (The featured-listing card art above is the exception — it is sourced from the businesses themselves.) Replace them with real member photography before this proposal is shown to a funder. Real owners, real storefronts and real workshop photos — with written permission — will do more for credibility than any stock image, and the Florida Pinoy network already has them. Swap-in path: drop a replacement JPEG at `assets/photos/.jpg` and re-run `python3 tools/build_graphics.py`; all crops and variants regenerate.
